Safety Standards and Precautions for Busy Boards London

At Busy Boards London, we take safety very seriously, and we are proud to confirm that all our sensory boards have been tested and passed for EN71-1 Safety of Toys – Mechanical and Physical Properties. However, due to the unique and individual nature of each board, we are unable to obtain a CE mark for our products.

To meet the standards criteria for CE marking, each activity board would need to be identical in every way, which would restrict the creative and educational potential of our handmade boards. We use components such as locks, wheels, zips, and pots, which do not have their own CE mark, but we ensure they meet high safety standards through stringent internal safety testing.

It’s important to note that while our busy boards are educational and promote learning through play, they are not considered toys. We recommend using our boards when they are laid down on the ground or fixed onto a stand, and adult supervision is always advised during playtime to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the child.

At the heart of Busy Boards London is our commitment to inclusion and education, and we strive to provide safe, unique, and stimulating toys that promote sensory exploration and fine motor skills development. Trust us to prioritise your child’s safety and well-being with our quality and safe products.
